I remember when I did my first discovery call. I was SO nervous. I had spent my life working in Hospitality and Social Work. I NEVER imagined I was cut out for anything business or sales-related. In fact, I had totally convinced myself that I was not cut out for it at all. Thankfully, I had a few friends who had perfected the Disco Call, and they were kind enough to share some insights with me.
Despite their efforts, I was still nervous and sweating each time, and very much relied on my 'discovery call script' in order to keep the conversation flowing and ensure that I touched upon all of the points I needed to make a proper proposal. Looking back now, I have such fond memories of this 'script'. I know that it helped me to successfully land all of the sales that have ever come through my business, and I've officially reached a place where hopping on a quick Disco Call can feel calm, casual, and actually fun & engaging.
